From Ballater, pass over the River Dee onto the B971, South Deeside Road. After passing over the river turn right at the T Junction. Continue along this road for approximately 250 yards and then follow the private drive on the left leading up through the stone pillars into the wooded grounds. Follow this drive for approximately 600 yards and you will arrive at the House of Glenmuick – Welcome!

If you are heading for either Gardener's Cottage or Antlers Cottage then take the left-hand fork after about 500 yards up the drive. This will lead you past a house and garages on your left. Parking for Gardener's Cottage is to the left-hand side of the third building on the left and Parking for Antlers Cottage is round the end of the third building on the left.

For Ballintober: From Ballater, pass over the River Dee on the B976. After passing over the river turn right at the T Junction onto the B976 for Braemar. After 0.6 miles take the left turn onto a track (on the left-hand side of a memorial bench) just before the road bends right and before the road signposted with a brown sign to Glen Muick. The private track is signposted for Ballintober. Follow this unmade track straight on for 0.3 miles and Ballintober will be the first house you reach on your left-hand side.

For Littleton: From Ballater, pass over the River Dee on the B976. After passing over the river turn right at the T Junction onto the B976 for Braemar. After 0.6 miles take the left turn onto a track (on the left-hand side of a memorial bench) just before the road bends right and before the road signposted with a brown sign to Glen Muick. The private track is signposted for Ballintober and Littleton. Follow this unmade track straight on for 0.3 miles and take the first RH turn (signposted for Littleton) down through the trees and then Littleton Cottage will be the first house you reach on your right-hand side.
